Robert Blunt (died 1788)
- was born before 1739.
- was a linen draper at Charing Cross, Westminster.
- was buried at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 17th April 1788.
- married Sarah Adams (daughter of George Adams the elder) at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 23rd June 1759.
- had twelve children:
- Thomas Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 19th June 1760.
- George Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 27th August 1761.
- Thomas Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 17th October 1762.
- Ann Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 9th October 1763 and married Richard Rogers.
- William Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 15th December 1764.
- Sarah Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 7th September 1766.
- Robert Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 11th August 1768 and married Mary Senior in 1792. He was apprenticed to his uncle, George Adams the younger, in 1782 and took over the family business until his death in 1816.
- General Richard Blunt (1770-1859)
- Joseph Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 25th September 1772 and married Sarah Clay in 1802.
- Hannah Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 17th November 1774.
- Henry Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields in May 1776.
- Lucy Blunt was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 26th February 1778, and died in Somerset on 1st February 1851.

General Richard Blunt (1770-1859)
- the son of Robert Blunt.
- was christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 6th September 1770.
- joined the army on 31st January 1887 as an Ensign in the Buffs (3rd Regiment of Foot).
- served with the Buffs in the West Indies, Flanders, Madeira etc. commanding the regiment as Lt-Colonel from 1799.
- was seconded to the Portuguese Army in 1809 as a Brigadier-General under Beresford for the duration of the Peninsular War, serving as Governor of Peniche from 1st July 1810.
- was made a Commander of the Portuguese Order of the Tower and Sword.
- was Colonel-in-Chief to the 66th Regiment from 1835 and attained the full rank of General in 1841.
- died at Barnfield House, Millbrook, Southampton on 25th December 1859.
- married Polly Thomson at Christchurch, Nicola Town, St Kitts on 26th August 1799.
- had four children:
- Mary Thomson Blunt was born c1800 and married Sir Thomas Livingstone Mitchell in 1818.
- Sarah Blunt who married to become Sarah de Gran Foullioy.

Captain Richard Blunt (1806-1848)
- the son of General Richard Blunt.
- was born on 26th February 1806 and christened at St Martin-in-the-Fields on 24th March.
- served in the army with the 61st and 67th Regiments between 1823 and 1831, reaching the rank of Captain.
- was paralysed after a hunting accident and died three years later at Frant, Sussex on 19th December 1846.
- married Mary Clay (daughter of James Clay and Mary Emes) at St George's, Bloomsbury, London on 13th October 1831.
- had five children:
- Emily Clay Blunt was born on 23rd September 1832 in Brighton, Sussex. She died in 1900, a convert to the Roman Catholic Church.
- General Walter Frederick Blunt (1834-1908)
- George Ernest Emes Blunt was born in 1838 in Brighton and died in 1921.
- Isabella Cecilia Blunt was born in 1840 in Brighton. She married William Harry Stone.
- Eliza Sophia Martha Blunt was born in 1843. She married Robert Hamilton Simpson in 1869 and died in 1934.

General Walter Frederick Blunt (1834-1908)
- the eldest son of Captain Richard Blunt.
- was born c1834.
- joined the army as an Ensign in the 14th Regiment on 24th November 1852. He remained with that regiment for 11 years before retiring with the rank of Major.
- saw action during the Crimean War, earning a medal for the siege of Sebastopol.
- joined the Turkish Gendarmerie at the outbreak of the Russo-Turkish War in 1877 and remained with that force, becoming a General and Aid-de-Campe to the Sultan.
- died on the Island of Prinkipo in December 1908.
- married Louisa Usher Walpole Holsworthy (daughter of James Esdaile Hammet and Emma Louisa Keith Foster) at St George's, Hannover Square, London on 20th June 1865.
- had one child:
- Lt-Colonel Walter Ernest Onslow Campbell Blunt (1867-1926)

Lt-Colonel Walter Ernest Onslow Campbell Blunt (1867-1926)
- the only son of General Walter Frederick Blunt.
- was born on 25th May 1867 at Pimlico, London.
- joined the army as 2nd-Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Rifles on 14th September 1887. He transferred to the Royal Army Pay Dept in 1898. He served in the Boer War before attaining the rank of Lt-Colonel in 1912. He then served through the Great War when he was mention several times in despatches by Field-Marshal Haigh.
- died at Ryde, Isle of Wight on 29th October 1926.
- married Mabel Ethel Stone (daughter of William Harry Stone and Isabella Cecilia Blunt) at the Citadel Garrison Church, Cairo, Egypt on 15th November 1899.
- had five children:
- Mabel Phoebe Blunt was born in Cheltenham on 5th November 1900.
- Walter Kenneth Blunt was born in Guildford, Surrey on 24th August 1903, but died in 1912.

- Barbara Joan Blunt who married Archibald James Butterworth.
- Walter Terence Blunt who married Kirsteen Hodges.

Ronald Cecil Blunt (1904-1982)
- the son of Lt-Colonel Walter Ernest Onslow Campbell Blunt.
- was born on 1st October 1904 at Claygate, Surrey.
- was a Chartered Accountant.
- died in Dorset on 3rd October 1982.
- married Doris Lilian Borrow (daughter of Thomas Borrow and Ellen Mary Jenkins) at Christchurch, West Green, North London on 12th September 1931.
- had two children:
- Philip Richard Blunt.
- Walter Stephen Blunt.
